Will roll-out and run twenty large book departments for the grocery store Willys.
Pocketstället, the leading supplier of paperback books to grocery stores, has signed a new three years agreement with Axfood regarding outsourcing of book sales via all chains within the Axfood group.
With the expanded cooperation Pocketstället will develop Axfood's shop-in-shop book concept and roll-out and run twenty large units during the coming year.
"We have a long and successful relationship and we are very proud to have received a renewed confidence from Axfood. This emphasizes that Pocketstället's strategy to provide customer driven book selections and at the same time be the most service oriented book partner for grocery chains is right" says Tor Enander, CEO at Pocketstället.
The set-up of Pocketstället's shop-in-shops at Willys will start during the fall of 2011 and twenty Willys stores will have the new concept by mid 2012. The new book departments will cover c. 20-30 square meters and will offer customized range of ordinary and paperback books.
"This is a significant effort both for us and for Willys and will imply both new recruitments and revenue growth" says Tor Enander.
