Wright Trafikkskole expands and enters the Swedish market

Oslo, 2010-08-13. Wright Trafikkskole enters the Swedish market and strengthens its position in Norway. ”This is a further step towards becoming the leading player in the Nordic market“, says Kevin Wright, CEO of Wright Trafikkskole.
Wright Trafikkskole acquires Transportfagskolen and Sikkerhetshallen in Sarpsborg, Norway, and Kul på Hjul Trafikskola in Gothenburg, Sweden. On Hisingen in Gothenburg, Wright Trafikkskole has also established a completely new branch office.
Transportfagskolen offers driving education for all types of driving licenses as well as other types of courses within the transportation field. The sister company Sikkerhetshallen provides education within health, environment and safety (HMS). The two companies had a combined turnover of NOK 15m in 2009 and have 15 employees. Mr Cato Röd, previous owner of the companies, will continue as branch manager for Wright Trafikkskole. "I look forward to leading the branch together with the new owners, and to become a part of Wright's ambitious growth strategy", says Mr Röd.
The acquisition of Kul på Hjul Trafikskola and the establishment of the new branch office on Hisingen is a starting point for Wright Trafikkskole's Swedish expansion.
Kul på Hjul Trafikskola offers driving education for cars and motorcycles. The company had a turnover of SEK 4m in 2009 and has 7 employees in Gothenburg. Mr Stefan Enehed, previous owner of the company, will continue as branch manager for Wright Trafikkskole.
The new Wright Trafikkskole branch office on Hisingen has employed five driving teachers and will offer driving education for cars and motorcycles.
